The Pistons continue to struggle...or do they.

As I’m sitting here watching the Pistons struggle once again, this time to the tone of a 19 point deficit to the Toronto Raptors, I am wondering if the once inspiring 4-0 start had more to do with the abysmal opponents than it did to us playing well. With no faith that a comeback would happen, I begin to write about our struggles thus far. It continues to be the Blake Griffin show and Drummond continues to be the least useful 20-20 guy of all time. Reggie Jackson continues his putrid shooting and throwing up circus shots, now shooting 36% on the year and 30% from behind the arc. Before tonight the Pistons were 1-5 against teams .500 and above, their lone win being against a Ben Simmons(less) 76ers team.
With all of this being said, somehow the Pistons willed there way to an impressive win on the road against the top seed in the east. Blake Griffin once again showing his dominance, Drummond disappears on offense once again but does enough with some clutch put backs down the stretch, and Stanley Johnson with a very impressive game defensively. Now if we can only get a clutch perimeter shooter like Korver down the road, we might be able to sneak into a 4 seed.
