If Michigan doesn't beat Ohio State this year... They never will.

One will look at this statement and laugh. “Of course, Michigan will beat Ohio State again even if it’s not this year.” Well lets look at some facts. Ohio State just isn’t the same Ohio State that everyone is accustomed to. They don’t run the ball well, they can’t stop the run, they can’t stop a QB that can extend a play outside the pocket and sadly Urban just doesn’t have a clue how to handle having a non run threat QB. Here are some numbers....
Total Defense- Michigan #1Passing
Yards Allowed- Michigan #1Rushing
Yards Allowed- Michigan #13

Passing Offense- Ohio State #3Rushing
Offense- Ohio State #61

Michigan is avg. 200+ YPG on the ground, while Ohio State is giving up over 140 YPG.
Michigans plan should be to line the ball up and try to run the ball over and over again, keeping Haskins and OSU off the
field and his top ranked defense fresh. They have done this all year with being #4 in Time of Possession team in the nation holding the ball for 34 min a game.
As I was doing this research, I stumbled on a interesting stat. Michigan is ranked 125th out of 129 teams in Red Zone Defense. So, if you get to the red zone against them you score, problem is through 10 games opponents have only got to the red zone 16 times. Thats 10 less times than Alabama.
So back to my original statement... "If Michigan doesn’t beat Ohio State this year... they never will."Harbaugh better win this game because Ohio State won’t be as bad as they are on the ground and on defense as they are this year. This is a young Ohio State team that will only grow and continue to bring in top 10 recruiting classes. Good luck this year Michigan cause if you lose, you will never beat Ohio State again.
